Brittany's Birthday!

For my 23rd birthday we went to The Tavernacle in Salt Lake City. It is a really fun piano bar. It was so fun to have all of our friends together! My friend Megan made a request that I get on top of the piano and dance to Pour Some Sugar on Me, by Def Leppard, I can't believe I did it! It was a great birthday!

Avery and Brogan Garrett

Adam's sister Alexis and her family welcomed Avery Kate Garrett into their lives on November 30th. She is so beautiful and sweet! She is very mellow and quiet. Her big brother Brogan adores her. Grand Junction, Colorado

Adam's great grandma, Helen Harless, turned 92 this year! Annette, Andy, Aric, Adam, and I took a road trip to Grand Junction, Colorado to help celebrate. She lives in an assisted living center, so her children and their families had a surprise birthday party for her there. I hadn't met most of Annette's family yet, so it was so great to get to know them. The hotel we stayed in had a Karaoke bar, it was a blast. Adam, Aric, and their cousin Justin felt the need to sing! They sang Faith by Limp Bizkit, it was awesome!

The Ranch

My mom and Brent bought a Ranch this fall near Big Piney, Wyoming. It is only about 3 hours away from Ogden. Scott, Adam, and I drove up there in October to check it out. We got to ride four-wheelers and horses. It was so much fun, and very relaxing! My mom and Brent love spending their weekends up there riding their horses, and taking care of their cattle. They only live there part of the week for now, but plan to make the ranch their permanent home in the future. The forest is right in their backyard, and they see elk, moose, and deer on a daily basis. We are so happy for them! They are brainstorming for a proper name for their ranch, any ideas???

Hunting!

Adam had a fun and busy hunting season! He went deer hunting with his dad and Scott, and all three of them got a deer. Duck hunting was fun for them, but it got really cold towards the end of the season. Our chocolate lab, Moose LOVES duck hunting. He did really good this year, he learned to go get the duck and bring it back to Adam. He's so cute, we love him! Adam and Scott bought a duck boat together, but didn't get to use it much because the ponds froze soon after the got it. They both look forward to the next season!
