~Kadence's 1st Graduation~

Kadence has been in a Kindermusik class since January. Such an amazing program, she learned countless songs, dances, instruments, and much more. She loved going each week, and she adored her teacher, Ms. Susan.

We put together some treats for her classmates. Alexis gave me a cute Idea of making "Playdough Cookies," (they are sugar cookies made with bright colored dough and shaped into looking like a large lolly pop) but I'm a slacker and took the easy route. Adam poked holes in the top of the playdough lids, I stuck a sucker in the top (just blow pops, trust me, I looked EVERYWHERE for large lolly pops, couldn't find the dang things), and attached a little note from Kadence, "Thanks for "Play"-ing with me every week...Love Kadence.
Kadence was so excited to pass out her treats to her friends.
My baby is getting so big, she's not so much a baby anymore. So sad, but fun to see her experience new things. My mom came along to watch the class and took some pictures for me. Kadence loved having her grandma there!
Kadence and her teacher, Ms. Susan. She is a former elementary school teacher, and she is wonderful with the kids.
Patting our legs to the "Our Time" song, Kadence's favorite.

Bumping up and down in her little red wagon, (well, little white laundry basket, but we use our imaginations).
Time to ride the horsey...
Snack/Story time, Kadence loves to drink out of these little dixie cups, so much cooler than her sippy cup!
And for the granduation finale...Kindermusik Idol! All the kids took turns standing on the little stage and singing their favorite song. Kadence did Itsy Bitsy Spider.
I think we're both going to miss Kindermusik this summer, can't wait to start again in the fall! If you want to know more, go to http://www.kindermusik.com/

A Wedding Brunch...

My cousin Cade got married yesterday in the Idaho Falls Temple...we took this as a perfect opportunity to go visit family that we haven't seen in a Loooong time, like my grandma Clawson.

Isn't she a pretty grandma, she has 7 children, 30 something grandchildren, and a ton of great grandchildren!
Scott and Meagan, this was Meagan's 1st time meeting this side of our family.
Me and my dad...
Kadence was having a blast doing the "superman." Her daddy holds just her knees, and she stretches straight out, she's got some killer muscles.
So Fun!
These are all of my dad's sisters, from the left...Marcy, Sally, Holly, Melissa (not his sister, just a friend), Julie, and Jody. They have a tradition of singing a funny song about the newly wed couple, some talented ladies! I didn't get a picture of the newlyweds, but Jody is the proud momma of the groom.
Papa and his girl.
"Gramma Great" and Kadence...
I'm so glad we got to see everyone and visit for a while! It's so nice to be reminded of how much family we have to love and love us back.

Easter Weekend

We started Easter off early with dinner and egg coloring at Nana and Papa's house.
Kadence telling Brogan how it's done.
Such focus.
Look at those baby blues.
Oops...she got a little confused. Yuck!
Watching daddy try to make a BroWn egg, ewww.
Love these two little balls of joy, Avery and Brogan.

The finished product, beautiful!
Then it was off for an Easter Egg hunt in the basement. Kadence knew exactly what to do, even though this was her first hunt. Smart little girl.
Needed daddy's help with some.
Sweetness...
Uncle Aric helped open the eggs to get to the good stuff.

The next morning...looks like the Easter Bunny made it to Kadence's house.
She went straight for the HuGe chocolate bunny, just like her momma would.
Ben and Alexis had us over for Easter brunch...Alexis made this adorable bag for holding glitter cars for Kadence to play with. She LoVes it to say the least, goes everywhere with her. Thanks Lex!
Kadence was hungry, waiting for food.
Alexis and Ben planned a fun scavenger hunt for their kids, Kadence tagged along. It started off with the story of Easter and led them through the house and outside to find the BiG surprise...
This wasn't the surprise, Kadence just got a little sidetracked.
Time for another egg hunt, this time outside.

Here is the surprise...a Trampoline! Brogan and Avery were so excited, loved it.
Look at all the fun colorful bouncy balls.
Daddy joined in on the fun.
So funny!
Our Family...thanks for having us over Ben and Alexis, brunch was delicious!!
Later that day, practicing riding her new trike.
Her feet can't quite reach yet, hopefully by the time warm weather gets here. For now, we can help her, inside =-/ Come on Sunshine, we miss you!
We ended our weekend at my dad and Susan's. Check these two cuties out, they are 6 weeks apart and love each other!
Kissing cousins...
Hope everyone enjoyed their Easter Weekend!!

Waiting for Nana

Kadence had a date with her Nana the other day. She was so excited we had to get her backpack ready and for some reason...had to brush her teeth.

Love this face!
