Feeding the Ducks

We went to Beus Pond to feed the ducks, geese, and swans.

We had a cute little family of geese to feed.  It was fun to see how protective the parents were of their little ones.  The  Seagulls kept swooping in trying to steal the bread and the mom and dad would let them have it!

It was a really nice day to be outside!

Like Father, Like Daughter

This little girl got the nap gene from her daddy.  I envy how easily they both can zonk out!

She even looks like her dad when she sleeps.

Both of them in deep slumber, love how her hand is on his arm.

Sleepy girl.

A Happy Mother's Day

I am so thankful for this angel face for giving me a reason to celebrate Mother's Day!

I love her so much.

With the help of Nana, Kadence painted me this beautiful "Mom" sign.

After Papa made a delicious breakfast, we made our way up to East Canyon for a little fishing.

Apparently we are rookies, and didn't think to bring swim suits to the water,  especially in the 80 degree weather.

So when your mom dresses you in a maxi dress, you just hike it up and head on in!

Kadence wasn't to interested in the fishing, mostly just eating cheetos, running through the water scaring the fish away, and throwing rocks.

It was really hot up there, and I wore jeans and a black shirt.  I was feeling pretty swollen and miserable, ugh.  It was nice to get out in the fresh air for a bit though.

If I was as care free as this 4 year old, I would have just stripped down to my undies and jumped in.  Lucky for my in-laws, I am not.

Countdown

Around 34 weeks pregnant with Colt.

We were getting a little anxious, so Kadence had the idea to make a countdown chain, 6 weeks to go, that's 47 links!  She wanted to do blue, yellow, and orange for Colt and a few pink ones for her.

Trampoline and Cousins

We had Jared, Ashley, Madie, and Grandpa Rich and Grandma Susan over for a BBQ.    The girls ended up on the trampoline.

Madie is hilarious!

They had a lot of fun!

Let's Plant Some Trees

We (Adam mostly) have been working so hard to get our yard done, little by little.  We thought some Quaking Aspens would be perfect back in the corner by our fire pit.

Kadence jumped right in to help dig the holes, Brave princess dress and all.

Then they needed some water.

Now here's hoping that they grow!

Lazy Saturday Morning

I love this picture of daddy and daughter, giggling over funny animal pictures.

Practice, Practice

Kadence is practicing her big sister skills by learning how to hold a baby.

She's got the hip pop down just right.

A Real Bunny

We went over to Lynn and Rachel's house after Hannah's baptism, and guess what they had???

A real bunny!  Kadence was in Heaven.  She and Mallory sat and pet him for a long time.

Surprise Bounce House

Nana had told the kids there would be a BiG surprise delivered to their house, Kadence and I couldn't wait to get up to Morgan to see what the surprise was!

A bounce house in their front yard?!  Awesome!

The kids absolutely loved it, and were pretty much on it all day.

When it got to dark to play, they came inside and we got some cuddles in.  Alexis and Kadence...

And Bebe and Av!

Needless to say, this little gal was exhausted when we left.  Such a fun day!

Easter 2013

We kicked off the Easter holiday with the annual South Weber City egg hunt.

Grandpa Rich gave Gage and Kadence a strategy, run all of the way to the middle of the field and start picking up eggs.

Kadence was focused!

So fun!
Dressed for Spring

Silly girl, dying some eggs.
Funny faces.

The Easter bunny found Kadence's house.

A new kite, hopefully this one works!

How did the Easter Bunny know she loves stuffed animals??

Fancy!

Grandma Jaimie joined us for breakfast.

The neighbor let Kadence go for a little ride on his horse before we headed to Morgan.

Brothers

Nana and Papa had a Easter egg hunt/ Scavenger hunt waiting for Kadence, awesome!

More Stuffed animals?!  One happy little girl!
