December FuN

WARNING...Long Post! This is what's been keeping us busy all month.

Papa and his two adorable girls at Ben's birthday party.
My Grandma's family has a huge Christmas party every year, we were in charge of planning it this year. Kadence had a blast running all over the gym and performing for people.

These little twin boys came and gave Kadence a big KiSS as soon as they saw her, trouble! She was sharing her gold fish with them, so nice of her.

This is my cute Grandma, doesn't she look so good for a great grandma?!

We played a game where we had to dress up my grandma and her brothers and sisters as human Christmas Trees...this was our family's work of art.

Her brother Leon won, second one in from the right. I think he looks more like a Christmas Mummy than a tree, but oh well. They were good sports to let us do that to them...we laughed pretty hard!

Kadence and her Grandma...this is where Kadence really gets her big EyEs from...

We had soooo much fun at my work Christmas Party...it was at Snowbasin. They had yummy food and Casino Games. I played Black Jack for the first time in my life, and did pretty good...not good enough to win anything though =( I'm ready for VeGas now.

We took Kadence to the mall to see Santa for the 1st time...she wasn't so sure about it.

Watch it Santa...I've got my eye on you!
She sat long enough to get a picture and some candy, and then she'd had enough.

Right before going to Christmas Village, this scowel on her face should have been a hint as to how the rest of the night was going to go.
Not Fun...too cold!

Still not having fun...

Sunday we got all dressed up for the Christmas Program, Grandma Jaimie bought Kadence this darling Christmas dress, thanks mom!

She loves the decorative horse.
Daddy got home from hunting just in time for a cuddle before we left.
Later that night we had our annual get together with Brent's kids before Christmas. The kids always get new jammies from Grandpa and Grandma. They rip them open and change into them immediately, always so exciting. These are all the grandkids, minus the one on the way, not me!...Summer=) From top left: Kadence, Jaimie, Spencer, Oakley, Natalie, Stetson, Mason, Sawyer
From bottom left: Malory, Bailee, Gracie, Hanna, and Emerie
Kadence has helped me make two batches of chocolate chip cookie dough brownies, and she's loved every minute of it...such a good helper. You have to try the recipe, I found it on www.Bakerella.com So yummy!
Yeah!...Kadence has graduated from high chair to booster seat, meal time is a whole new adventure now that we have a real plate =)
That's all for now, thanks for sticking through the whole post!

The pain that is Beauty...

I had Kadence's ear's pierced the day after her birthday...she screamed, but not for long. I love the way they look on her. I was soooo tired of everyone calling her a boy, "oh, he's so cute," or "I love his big blue eyes." Come on people, she's dressed head to toe in pink! Anyway... Kadence's doctor's office offers ear piercing to ensure cleanliness. I about lost it when they strapped her in this straight jacket thing, I was thinking that I was a terrible mom for putting her through this. She was just fine afterwards, and hasn't touched them since. Sad to say, the next day I was shopping for shoes, and the lady working there asked if she could size HiS feet for me...ugh! Oh well, I think she looks gorgeous =)
