My Kinda Party

Last Saturday while our men were deer hunting, the girls went to see Jason Aldean at the Maverick Center.
Lucky Meagan was in the "pit" right by the stage!
My mom and I were up in the seats with the rest of the crazies, ha ha. There are some pretty entertaining people out there. The seats were actually pretty good, Chris Young, Thompson Square, and Jason put on an awesome show!!
Thanks for the fun night ladies, and a special thanks to my mother-in-law for watching Kadence!

1st Trip to the Dentist

Kadence had her very first dentist visit this week. She was actually very excited.
We took the dentist chair as a great photo op.

There's that dimple that's usually hiding..
She thought this "bib" was hilarious.
The hygienist gave her a little ride in the chair, all the way up...
and all the way back...
She has 23 teeth.
She got to feel the spinning buffer thing.
After the Dentist came in and said her teeth look beautiful, she got to pick a prize from the treasure chest!
She did so well! Such a big and proud moment for both of us. Our baby girl is growing up!

Pumpkin Cookies

Our family looks forward to all of the pumpkin flavored treats every fall. Creamer, cookies, and now they have Pumpkin Spice Hershey's Kisses. October 1st we bought all of the ingredients for yummy Pumpkin cookies.
Kadence was satisfied with just the Ghirardelli Chocolate Chips.
Adam took over, since I was behind the camera.
Kadence was the first to try them, and...
she gave them a Thumbs Up!

Lion King for a New Generation

Before the recent release of Lion King, Kadence had never seen it so we took her to see it in the theater. She loved it and is now completely obsessed.
So exciting!
Her daddy went right out and bought her the DVD and a Simba stuffed animal. She loves to sing all of the songs from the movie and she talks about the scene where Simba and Nala are all grown up and are falling in love. When Nala licks Simba's cheek, she giggles and squirms, so funny.

She made sure I got a picture of just Simba...her excitement for things makes me so happy.
