Look Who's 3!

This was the day before Kadence's 3rd birthday, she took treats to school to share with her class.
Love her!

She had a present from Mrs. Molly in her cubby when I picked her up, she was so excited to open it! It was a princess tea party set, perfect.
Adam and I decorated the house that night so that when she woke up on her birthday she would know it was her special day.
Adam remembers his mom always did this for him and his siblings when they were little, so fun.

Ha Ha...doesn't this forced smile scream "just let me eat, mom!"
That night we went to Disney on Ice, a first for all 3 of us. Her daddy spoiled her with a couple of souvenirs, a Rapunzel doll...
and a Sun flashlight.
We were on the 3rd row so we got to see the action up close.

She was wide eyed the whole time, so exciting for a little girl!
The much anticipated Rapunzel and Flynn Rider.
All of the Princesses...

Such a fun night, thanks Disney!

~A Party for Rapunzel~

I asked Kadence back in August what theme she wanted and, "Tangled!" was her response. I immediately got busy planning the details and with a lot of help from www.supermommoments.com, my mother-in-law, and my super willing to help husband we put together a pretty successful party for a very special 3 yr. old.

The invitations...
"Pin the Nose on Flynn Rider." Adam's mom free handed this WANTED poster along with a bunch of different little noses (if my themed efforts don't make sense, watch the movie!)
The party favor boxes and Sun Flag banner.
Guests were greeted by this large yellow yarn braid.
More Sun Banners...
Another braid...
Kadence's first gift was waiting in her toy room..
A little art table from Nana and Papa! So cute, and a perfect size for little miss K.
Back to decor, I made Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup for dinner (forgot a picture though). I wanted to do Rapunzel's favorite Hazelnut Soup, but decided the chicken noodle was more of a crowd pleaser. My intention was to make bread braids but I ran out of time, so rolls it was.
The AMAZING Tower cake made by my mother-in-law. So cute, huh?
Flower cupcakes, also my mother-in-law.
Jello Sail boats, you know, like the one Rapunzel and Eugene are in when he takes her to see the floating lanterns.

Before the guests arrived we Skyped our long distance loved ones. This was the first birthday we've spent apart since our kids were born and their presence was greatly missed! We love our Ben, Alexis, Brogan, Avery, and Bridger!
They sent her a cute decorated package, and inside it was a little Belle doll and...
a Belle dress up dress! Yay, Kadence loves dress up, she was so excited.
Kadence melted in shyness when her guests started to arrive...
We had a full house!
Little Henry...
Cute Gage..
Sweet little Mady...
Time for games! Kadence wanted no part in this, she just watched happily from a distance.
Kylie
Gage
Lexie (Lexie is my cousin and her and her mom, my aunt Jashelle, drove all the way up from Las Vegas to surprise us. It was so fun to have them here!)
Christina (love Kadence's face in the background)
Lexie won!
Still being a little shy...
Make a wish!

Kadence got spoiled with presents, she was in Heaven.

We ended the party with a Pinada, so funny! My camera died right after this picture though..
We had such a fun time at the party. Kadence is one loved little girl, and we are so thankful for everyone coming and helping us celebrate her. I can't believe our little girl is 3, she is getting so grown up. We are so proud of her, she is a little sweetheart. She constantly makes us laugh out loud, we are so lucky to have her in our life. We love you Kadence!

IF ANYONE WANTS OR KNOWS SOMEONE WHO WANTS SOME OF THE DECORATIONS I MADE LET ME KNOW...I'LL GIVE AWAY THE SUN BANNERS, THE YARN BRAIDS, AND THE FLYNN RIDER BANNER.
