30th Annual Andersen Reunion

We spent Memorial Day weekend on Plymouth Mountain for the Andersen Reunion. It is my grandma's (mom's side) family, all of her 6 brothers and sisters and ALL of their families...it's huge. I think there was something like 120 people there. It originated as a birthday party for my great grandma, she's no longer with us but we kept the tradition up. Everyone parks their trailers or tents in a big circle and there's a camp fire in the middle. The families take turns hosting it each year, and 2009 was our year. My aunt Janica made the cute shirts, Kadence's was custom made since they didn't sale t-shirts in her size at the printing place...hers was for sure the most fashionable with the ruffles and all. We had sloppy joes for lunch, me, my mom, Janica, and Meagan made 40 lbs of it the night before and it filled two big roaster pans...we didn't even touch the second one. Needless to say, we've been eating a LOT of sloppy joes this past week! We don't mind, they are delicious! We had a bunch of fun, so good to catch up with family.

This has become Kadence's signature picture face, she spots the camera, and her tongue comes out instantly and she squints her eyes. Hopefully she'll grow out of this...it's kind of cute I guess.Kadence and her daddy...love them.
This is our family, minus Jashelle's husband Brandon and her boys Kolton and Brandon. From the left there's Brent and my mom, DuWayne and Janica, Shay, Ali, Josy, Scott and Meagan, Grandma and Grandpa, Adam, Kadence, me, Jashelle, and Lexie is in the middle.

Kadence is my grandma and grandpa's 1st great grand kid. (Kadence's signature picture face again.)
Scott and his cute girl Meagan.
I love when my Aunt Jashelle comes up from Las Vegas, she's so fun to be around and we jump at the chance to get to see her and her family!

What a fun day! I love HUGE family reunions. So cool to see all the people that came from just one or two people. Pretty cool! :) And your family is so DARLING! Next time Jashelle is here....we should all get together again.
