Okay, so I guess everyone wants to know what the heck I was talking about with that last post, so here goes...
Change #1...I got an awesome promotion at work to the manager of my department, yay! It has been so much fun, and I absolutely love it. I feel more involved and like I take more ownership in my work. I have been working double the days I used to, so I am hugely grateful to my sis-in-law Alexis for helping me out by watching Kadence for me.
Change #2...We are building a new house in South Weber. They are starting to dig in the next couple of weeks! We are so, so, so, excited to start this process. We are very appreciative to my mom and Brent for letting us live rent free in their house for the past year and a half, but it's time to get into our own home. Exciting!! This is our empty lot...
Change #3...the sad change...My sister-in-law Alexis and her family are moving far, far away soon. I am devastated. She is the sister I never had, one of my best friends, and I adore my niece and nephews. I will desperately miss playdates and girls night out with her. I'm sad that Kadence won't get to be as close to her cousins, she's used to playing with them a minimum of one day a week. I'm hoping Skype will help a little. On the bright side, they will only be gone for two years (hopefully!), and we will get to vacation in a brand new city that we've never been to. I know this is such a great job opportunity for Ben and it will be an exciting adventure for their family, but I'm being selfish and sad. I will miss seeing the five of their bright smiley faces in person. So for now, while they are still here everyday, I'm going soak up as much of them as I can...I love you Ben, Alexis, Brogan, Avery, and Bridger!!!!!

Wow there are a lot of changes! Congrats on the promotion!! I seriously am coming to get a deep, deep, extra deep tissue massage after the baby comes! And how exciting on your house!
Yeah about the house building! When do they start digging? You'll have to take lots of along the way pics...that is so exciting! As for you sister-in-law....so sad! Where are they moving too? You need to come and hang out with me and Scarlett....:)

Where in South Weber? Jake brother and sister live in the Neilson Homes subdivision off the frontage road... close to that? Every one I knwo that lives in South Weber LOVES it. Congrats on the house and promotion! I need to come see you for some fun spa services... maybe husband will pay attention to Valentine hints :)COngrats again!
How exciting for you guys! Building a house is a big deal. I hope we can get in a house of our own soon. And boy are we all going to miss the Garrett clan. :( 2 years isn't very long.
I haven't blogged forever and finally checked in on you and you DO have lots of changes! But guess what, I'm in So. Weber, and it's a small town, so I will be your new neighbor/sister when you need one :) Where is your lot? That is sooo exciting! So. Weber is the BEST!!! You will love it here.
So sorry about the sad news, but congrats on the good news. How fun. Building a house is very stressful, but so Fun. It is so fun to go by everyday and see the progress made everyday, its the best, enjoy every minute of it

p.s. Potty training is the pits~ so glad you survived your first one:) Yay! And I loved her #1 picture~ she's a doll!

Wow brit..that is a lot of change! First of all congrats on ur promo at work! U deserve it and u r doing an excellent job! Second..I'm so jealous that u r going to be building a new house! That's so exciting! I grew up in sw...you'll have to tell me where ur lot is. And third...how sad about alexis and her fam. Where are they moving to? Two years will fly by tho.
