Twins Next Door

Kadence hit the jackpot and has four new friends living right next door to our new house. Bailey and Payton are 5 yr. old twin girls and Chloe and Aleeya are 3 yr. old twin girls. Kadence has grown very fond of the 3 yr. olds, especially Chloe. It's kind of sad sometimes, she and Chloe will be jumping on the tramp or something, and little Aleeya is just kind of moping around watching, like she got her best friend taken. Most of the time all three of them are together though.

It is so fun to see Kadence make her first friends on her own, without the help of me. As soon as we get down to the house and get out of the car she says, "Where's my neighbor kids?" I think they watch out the window for us, because without fail they come running out to greet Kadence.
They are so cute together!

Kadence's 1st Dance Recital

Kadence had her 1st dance recital, and it might have been her last. She loves the costume part, the family coming to watch her, the trophy, gifts, etc....everything but the dancing part. I had to drag her onto the stage and from there she melted into a ball, covering her face and crying. Maybe 2 1/2 is a little young for dance, we'll try again in a year or so.

She does look the part though...
Me and my sweetie.
Isn't she gorgeous? Those eyes...
After the "dance" she was so excited to show everyone her trophy! I asked her, "Kadence, did you dance to get that trophy?" She replied with, "I can't dance mom." I really don't care if she likes dance or not, as long as she has confidence and has fun with whatever she chooses to do.
Miss Avery on the other hand did fabulous! She's a natural, she looked so cute up there on the stage!

Lots of family came to watch these two little dancers, even Aric and Cami, all the way from St. George. Wish they lived closer!
Thanks to everyone who came and supported our little Kadence, I know she felt the love!

More of the Half Marathon

My biggest fans, waiting for me to run by.
Love them!
Here she comes...
Almost done, hallelujah!
Ha Ha...such a bad picture of me but shows exactly how I was feeling at the end.
My mom and grandma came to support me, my mother in-law was there to, but she was taking the pictures.
Me and my family, Kadence wasn't in the picture mood.
It was such a boost of energy to see these people on the sideline yelling my name. I'm so thankful for their support!

Goodbye Party

This lovely family moved to Seattle a couple weeks ago. We had a fun little going away party for them, and even made it a surprise for Alexis and the kids (Ben had to know so he could get his family to Morgan on time.)
We miss them so much already. Kadence has caught on that we haven't seen them in a while, and is asking for her Brogan and Avery constantly. Thank goodness for Skype, we did it last week and it was so good to see their faces. They will be back for a short visit in July and it can't come fast enough!! We love you guys!
