I need a Vacation...

So I was just looking through my old pictures and stumbled upon our trip to Vegas for Adam's 21st birthday. I want to go again. It looks so fun...wait a minute, I was there, it was fun! We stayed at the Aladdin Hotel, during the period when they were converting to the Planet Hollywood Hotel. We were so lucky, when we checked in, they upgraded us to the new Silvester Stallone Suite. There were double doors at the entrance, and a doorbell that played Eye of the Tiger, so crazy. It was huge with a panoramic view of the strip. It had all the Rocky movie gear in glass cases, yes, in our room. It was big enough that it needed 2 bathrooms. Actually, Adam's parents were the ones that got this room, but they switched with us since we were there for Adam's birthday, they're so nice. Oh man, what fun times! My little bro is turning 21 in June, maybe we will go back...

This is me waiting for the Bellagio fountain show to start, the lights look pretty cool, huh?

We started everyday at the pool for a good 4 hours, sipping cold fruity drinks with umbrellas in them.

Yes, Adam has a beer in each hand, guess he was excited to be 21! That's the Rocky stuff behind him.
I think I need a little work on that pose.

Anyways...I just need a vacation to look forward to, and as of right now, we don't have one planned.

1st EaStEr

The Easter Bunny paid a visit to our home, and left some good stuff for Miss Kadence!

She got a jumper, she wasn't too sure of it at first, but today she is loving it! She looks like she's doing river dance, so funny! I'll try to post a video of it later.

Kadence and her Grandpa

Meagan and Kadence
The Easter Bunny brought Kadence some Graduates Peach Puffs, she does pretty good with them, not sure she loves them yet. Oh, and this was her first time in a real high chair at my dad's, we always just feed her in her Bumbo. She's getting so big I can't stand it!
Cousins, Brogan and Avery, don't they look adorable?
The handsome little man, he had so much fun getting all the eggs at Nana and Papa's house. He especially loved the ones with "DoLLarS!" in them, he's so stinkin' funny.
Little Miss Avery looked like a doll, love the dress! Her momma has been doing her hair curly lately, I think it is so cute!

Hope everyone had a happy EaStEr!!!

Friends!

I got to hang out with some of my high school friends this weekend, finally! Katie was in town for Easter weekend, so she invited us over to her parent's house to catch up. There was 5 little girlies under the age of 2 1/2...We need some boys...who's next?! It was so fun to see all of you girls, I miss you!!

A little R & R!!!!

We went up to my mom and Brent's ranch for a little 5 day get away. It was so nice to just relax up there, no cell phones or computers, it was great! They just finished remodeling their house up there. It's awesome to be up in the mountains but still have the comforts of home. This was the first time we had been out of Ogden since August! There were 13 of us, my aunt Jashelle came up from Vegas with her family, and my Grandma and Grandpa were there to, so good to be with family! Warning: Long post, lots of pictures!
We had lots of babysitters up there so we took advantage and went fourwheeling with Scott and Meagan. It was gorgeous! It snowed the entire first day we were there, and then it was blue skies the rest of our trip.
It was calving season again, so we thought Kadence should go see all the brand new babies, I think she loved it! I wasn't even expecting us to be spending time outside because I thought it would be too cold, so I didn't come prepared with hats and coats for Kadence. My mom stuck this adult size beenie on her and just rolled it up, doesn't she look like a little Russian baby?!

Wholly CoW! Doesn't this momma look like she's going to pop? She was prego and about to have her baby calf anytime. She looked miserable, I fealt sorry for her! We were lucky enough to be able to see a calf being born, it was AMAZING! The intstinct these mother's have is a miracle, they just know what to do after their baby is born. We saw her clean her calf off, and then she was nudging it to get up because she knew he needed to eat. It's incredible that the calfs get up and walk within 30 minutes of being born, good thing human babies don't do that, that would be crazy!
There were baby cows everywhere, running around like little kids, so funny!
I had to take a picture of Kadence in her leopard outfit that Grandma Susan gave her, it matched my mom's beautiful new chair. It's a rocking chair, perfect for nursing mom's ;)
Kadence and Uncle Scott, they both have the same big blue eyes.

Scott pulling Adam on a sled, these two turn into 12 year olds when they play!

Family pic, Moose even made it in the picture.
Scott and Meagan.

Kadence loved being outside. She just kept laughing and smiling. I forgot her sunglasses, dang it...it was so bright!

4 Generations of Women
The boys, can you see how muddy they are?!
The famous blowing bubbles face! It's like when she doesn't know what else to do, she goes to blowing bubbles, makes us laugh everytime.
Taking a bath at Grandma's....Thanks mom and Brent for the fun weekend, we loved it!!

Cousins

This is one of Kadence's cute cousins, Gage. I posted about him when he was born, 6 months ago! They grow so fast. He's already crawling and sitting up, it's hard to believe that Kadence could be doing that in another month or so. She HaTeS tummy time, so I'm not sure that she'll get the crawling thing down very soon. We wanted to see how these two interacted with each other, they were so funny!

Gage was determined to get Kadence's flower off the top of her head, he loved it! He probably wanted to see if it made noise. He shakes everything he picks up to see if it makes a fun sound, like his rattles, so funny. He was shaking Kadence's baby doll forever, he just knew it had to make some kind of noise!
I think they enjoyed trying to grab each other's ears and face, I can't wait until they are both running around playing together!
