Witchy Weekend

Alexis, Avery, Bridger, Annette, Kadence, and I went down to the Witch Fest at Gardener Village this weekend while the boys were deer hunting. It rained a little at first, but then turned out to be a great day. There are a lot of pictures of the two little witches we were with, but I just can't get over how cute they are!
Alexis made these darling Halloween tutus for Avery and Kadence, how cute are they?
Two pretty witches...
They were doing glitter eyes and face painting. Miss Avery got her eyes done, so pretty!
There were pony rides, Kadence was happy with just watching. We tried to get her on this tiny little pony, but she was scared.
Avery was a brave girl
Posing with the baseball witches...they had a ton of witches all dressed up throughout Gardener Village, so fun.
Alexis, Av, and Bridger
Kadence ditched her hat/headband so she looked like a little punk witch the whole time.
Whoa!...she's her daddies girl, this face reminds me of Adam. He's famous for his funny expressions.
Checking out the ducks...
I love her! She has such enthusiasm for everything...
Think we're going to make it a new tradition...and next year buy tickets to the "Breakfast with a Witch" early before it sells out. Thanks ladies for a fun day!

Hike to the "M"

A couple of Sundays ago, we got the urge to hike up the the big M on the mountain in Morgan, where Adam's parents live.
Kadence was all for it at first...
About half way up, she expressed her real feelings for hiking...she wasn't a fan.
She kept saying, "c'mon guys, go back", and started walking down the mountain. Nana was with us, and had hiked up there before, so she took Kadence down and let Adam and I finish, so nice of her!
This is us sitting on the M for a breather, Adam's face makes me laugh, we were a bit winded! He wanted to do some hiking to get ready for all the hiking he would be doing for the deer hunt, hence the mountain man beard he's got going. Actually, it's kind of growing on me...

View from the top...
When we got back down to the bottom, we found Nana and Kadence were having much more fun on the level ground!

Pumkins and Chili

Last weekend we had some friends over for Chili and Pumpkin Carving. I love all of the seasons, but I think Fall is my favorite. The comfort food, getting to wear sweaters and boots, and all the pretty trees changing, I just love it.

Jared and Cheri brought Kadence this little Halloween cat and she hasn't put it down since, thanks guys!
This was Kadence's face when "John!" walked in....she has a mini crush on him.
Jared and Cheri
Scott and Meagan
John and Megan
Us...Kadence was not a fan of the pumpkin guts, she kept saying ewwwww, and wouldn't touch it.
Scott working on his Werewolf...his carving was the unanimous winner.
Me working on my Owl
The final product, on the left Meagan and Scott's and Cheri and Jared's and on the right, Megan and John's and mine and Adam's. Kadence's is there somewhere, she just colored hers with markers and put stickers all over it.
We had lots of fun and need to do it again before Halloween because our pumpkins already look nasty! Is there a trick to keeping them nice???

Hello Hunting Season

Last weekend we went up to the ranch for some Antelope Hunting, wahoo!

Adam in his hunter orange
Kadence and I decided to tag along for some of it...she's in love with the 4-wheelers!
Hard to see, but this is one of the guys Adam was debating on shooting, but he didn't. They are all over the place up there, but fast.
Scoping out the situation.
It was actually a lot of fun chasing them around on the 4-wheelers. Maybe I'll have to join in more often, maybe...

Black Island Farms

Last week Alexis invited us to this fun little place in Syracuse. I've heard about it every October, but this was our first time going. So fun!

The girls waiting patiently to go in...how cute is Avery's outfit, love the rubber boots.
Waiting for the tractor to take us out to the pumpkin patch
Angel baby Bridger, he slept most of the time.
The kids loved riding on the trailer, Kadence kept saying, "Papa's tractor?"
Out to the pumpkin patch to pick the best one..."I want that one."
Brogan found his...
Kadence quickly lost interest, and decided to run in the mud.
All three of them with their pumpkins.
Back on the trailer to head to the park they have
We ran through the corn maze, literally, chasing Brogan and Kadence. We had to split up to catch them both. Av saw the camera so she's striking a pose...
Riding the cute pig and cow train.
Playing in the corn box
Kadence was so brave and went down the big slides.
We had so much fun, such a cute place for kids. Kadence was fast asleep before we got out of the parking lot...

Baby Love

This little girl is a good momma...she makes sure her babies have enough blankie and milk. All three of them, and sometimes the bear watch Caillou (her new cartoon obsession) before bed. She makes me smile!
