How many Kidney Stones do I have?!?

This is my sweet husband's sad face. He's sad because we found out about a week ago that he has 14 Kidney Stones, 7 in each kidney! Poor guy =(. He has had pain in his side and back for a while now, so we decided he better go to the doctor. They did a CT Scan and found them all. The dr. told him he should be able to pass all of them, even though one is 5 mm. big, that seems huge for the little tube it has to travel through! He hasn't felt like he's passed one yet. The dr. said he may be passing some and not know it. She gave him these little strainers to try and catch a stone so that they can figure out what is causing them to form. Adam is going to a Urologist next Monday, and hopefully he can give us a little more information on how to prevent them. Everyone keeps telling Adam that passing the stones is the closest thing he will feel to giving birth, isn't that a coincidence? Well I have never had a kidney stone, but I hear the pain is horrible. I'm sorry Adam, good luck! I Love you!

18 Weeks

I went to see my dr. yesterday while I was at work. I am lucky to work in the same buildiing as my dr., so I can just run up there and have him look at the baby or ask him questions! Anyways, I was getting nervous because I hadn't felt her move for almost a week. Before that, I was feeling the "fluttery" feeling about every night. It just felt like a little butterfly was in my tummy. I wanted the dr. to take a look and make sure that she was okay. He kind of laughed at me because I'm only 18 weeks, and he said it was normal for me not to feel her moving yet. He did an ultrasound and we saw her moving around like crazy, and heard her strong heartbeat. I was so relieved! He told me I was lucky to feel her that early, and that I shouldn't expect to start feeling her regularly until around 22-24 weeks. He let me see her in 4-D for the first time. He said he doesn't usually show the babys in 4-D until 24 weeks, because at this stage she doesn't have any fat yet, so she kind of looks like an alien still. If you have a good imagination you can see that her right arm is bent up behind her head. I can tell where her eyes are, and her mouth. I think she looks cute =) My dr. said she weighs about 7 ounces right now, and in the next two weeks she will double in size, to about 1lb. It's amazing how fast they grow in there! I will keep you posted with her new pictures. Oh, and p.s., I asked him to check between the baby's legs, and he said she is still a baby girl =).

Yeah for Brandon and Jashelle!!

My aunt Jashelle and her husband Brandon ran in the Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay this last weekend. There was a big group of them from Las Vegas that came up to run. Jashelle ran three different legs. Her first leg was from Pine View Damn, up Trappers Loop towards Snow Basin, and then down the other side. She ran that last Friday at 4:00 in the afternoon, so hot! She said it was pretty hard but she finished! I am very proud of her and Brandon! My Grandma and I took their kids, Kolton and Lexie up to Park City to watch them cross the finish line on Saturday. There was so many runners, apparently you're not cool unless you run, right Alexis?! Brandon and Jashelle have such a cute family and we love them very much! Way to go guys!

I am NOT a boy!

Adam and I went to our 4 month ultrasound last week! It's going by so fast. At our 3 month appointment our Dr. told us he was 95% sure we were having a boy. He lied! He is now 110% sure it's a little girl. We are way excited! It was so funny when he was trying to look between her legs to find the goods. He just kept moving the ultrasound tool around on my tummy and wasn't saying anything for a while. We were looking for a boy part, but I didn't think I could see anything. I think our Dr. was embarrassed, he turned bright red when he told us it was a girl and showed us the three little lines that mean she's a girl. He kept apologizing to us. We were both shocked because we've been calling her a little boy for a month. We had bought a couple of blue onesies, but we took them and exchanged for PINK ones! Little girls are so sweet and fun to dress! For Father's Day Adam's mom and sister got him some cute things for a girl. His mom gave him a pink Nike softball bat, 3 pink softballs, and a tiny leather mitt, so cute! Alexis gave him a onesie that says "I am not a boy!" and some adorable pink mary janes. I think every dad wants a little boy that's just like him, but Adam seems excited about a baby girl. I know he will be so sweet with her. Now hopefully she is still a girl on our 5 month appointment!

Happy Anniversary Babe XoXo

Adam and I just celbrated our 1st wedding anniversary on June 9th. I can't believe it has already been a year. Time flies when you're with the one you love! I adore Adam. He is the sweetest guy. We are a great pair because I am a RED personality, and he is a YELLOW. Reds are perfectionists and tend to want to control everything, sounds like me! Yellow people are mellow and go with the flow. We definitely balance eachother out. When I want to go, go, go, Adam pulls me on the couch and makes me just relax with him, and I am so greatful for it! It has been a busy first year for us. We bought a house, got married, bought a duck boat, and got pregnant! Funny story, for my wedding shower my sister-in-law Alexis video taped Adam answering a bunch of questions about our relationship. At the shower she asked me to give the answer that I thought Adam would, and then she played the video so we could see what he really said. One of the questions was, "What do you think Adam will want to have 2 years into your marriage?" I said a baby, he said a duck boat! Ha Ha, I guess we both got what we wanted.

For our anniversary we stayed at the Anniversary Inn on 7th East and South Temple. It's a cute little place! Adam got me this cute pink robe that he had his aunt Cathy embroider with "Mrs. Hutchinson," and a framed picture of us in Mexico. He's very thoughtful. I got him tickets to the Salt Lake BEES baseball team. The next morning we went to Red Butte Gardens where we got married, it is so beautiful there. I am so lucky to be married to Adam, I love him more and more every day! I can't wait to start our family and grow old together!

I love Dolphins!

I know I already mentioned that swimming with the Dolphins was one of my favorite things in Mexico, but this is a better picture of it. It was so cool to be able to touch them! When dolphins gave us a kiss on the cheek, I could feel their whole body up against the side of me! They are very sweet animals.

Viva Los Mexico!

We had a blast in the Riviera Maya, Mexico! It was so fun! My favorite part was all of Avery Kate's sweet swimming suits (she had a new one for every day we were there), and swimming with the dolphins at Xel-Ha. My least favorite thing was when my forehead and feet got strangely swollen one day. I guess it was from getting sun burnt, and having super sensitive skin because I'm prego. It was not very attractive! Also, Adam had what we think was kidney stone pains really bad one night. I felt so sad for him. The pain was terrible, it made him sick a couple of times. We spent most of the days at the pool and beach. Adam's cute family are fun to travel with! My little brother Scott, aka Timmy came with us too. These are just some random pictures. Apparently Adam and I are horrible at taking pictures! We better work on that before the baby gets here so we can capture some good stuff! For some really professional looking pictures of our vacation, check out my sister-in-law Alexis' blog at http://www.gbiz4.blogspot.com/. They have this amazing camera, and she has pretty much mastered the art of photography. She is awesome!
