Mullet Mania

Kadence is sporting a serious Mullet lately. We've never cut her hair, do you think it's time? It usually looks pretty cute when I do it, she's got lots of curls and I clip her stuff on top back with a flower or bow. Why is the top so much shorter than the rest, it just grows in like that naturally?! I don't know what to do, I'm afraid that if I cut it, she'll lose all of her curls. Any of you out there with little girls go through this same mullet stage? When did you cut their hair? HELP!
Don't make fun...you know she still looks adorable, mullet or not ;-)

Happy Shower Kelli!

My long time friend Kelli is getting married to Chris on July 10th. Darci and Cassie gave her a beautiful Bridal Shower last Saturday. It was gorgeous weather, even a little hot, we all were wishing we had our suits to jump in the pool!

Kelli and her cute mom Kathy
Kelli and 5 of her bridesmaids, there is 1 missing, one of Chris' sisters.
Me, Rachel, Chris's sister(sorry, forgot her name), Kelli, Darci, and Cassie
Friends...
It was so good to be with my girlfriends and catch up, love them!

Ogden 5K

We ran the Ogden 5K on Saturday morning. It was so much fun! My work sponsors the employees to run and I talked Adam into doing it with me. My goal was to run it in under 30 minutes, I did it, my time was 29.18, ha ha, just barely! Adam ran with me for a while, I knew he was going slow just to stay with me so at the last mile I told him to take off. His time was 26 minutes, so that means he ran his last mile in 6 minutes! He's speedy. My soon to be sister-in-law Meagan did the half marathon, her goal was to finish and she did. She did awesome! Maybe I'll shoot for that next year.

We waited in the truck because it was FREEZING with the Canyon winds.
My BFF Megan ran it with her sis-in-law but waited with Adam and I in the warm truck.

*A Weekend of Mommy Celebrations*

We started celebrating Mother's day on Friday, I have no pictures of that night, but it was perfect. The 3 of us went shopping, then to our favorite La Ferrovia for yummy pasta, and then to Blockbuster for a movie.

Saturday we went up to Morgan to celebrate with my in-laws. We helped plant trees and bushes in the new yard. Nothing better than playing in the dirt! The kids were in Heaven.
Brogan is getting so grown up, he helped dig a bunch of holes.
Little Princess Avery helped too, well, maybe supervised. She's a doll, look at her tutu with the rubber boots.
The girls needed a break for Dorrito's.
Sharing the baby stroller, they are adorable.
Kadence loved running around outside with her cousins, such fun.
Sunday morning we went to the Snowbasin Brunch with my family. Kadence ate her weight in fruit, yum yum...
Delicious cake...
She had to kiss every animal statue in the place, silly girl.
Cute Scott and Meagan
Posing with the Piano Player
Me and my baby girl
Daddy and Kadence
Love him...

Scott, my mom, and me
You're not cool unless you wore your denim jacket on Mother's Day...
Later that day we went to my dad and Susan't for a BBQ. The kids all love this bridge in the backyard.
Little Mady
Grandma Susan had the kids help her put ladybugs in her rose bushes. Kadence was mesmerized by them crawling all over her.

Happy Mother's day to all of the mommas in my life, love you all!

Because of these 2 Loves...

I'm a Momma!
I had a fantastic Mother's Day, love them both.

Miss Messy and her 1st time-out

Kadence felt the need to re-landscape yesterday...it kept her busy for a good while, so I let her continue so i could get some pictures. She stayed with her Nana and Papa for a few days while we were in Mexico, they are putting in their yard at their new house, something tells me that's where she found her newest hobby, playing in the dirt.

Yep, caught ya...

And this was this morning's mess...teddy graham's all over the living room. This picture doesn't show half of them, naughty little girl.
I made her stand in time-out for the 1st time while she watched me pick up the cookies, half way through she said "sawee Momma" and helped me pick up the rest of them. We needed the help of the vacuum.
This is her in time-out. She made sure to pick up a couple cookies so she could snack on them to pass the time.
It's very hard to get mad at this sweet little face...love her.

Somos De Casa De México!

Translation...We're home from Mexico! Adam and I went to Mexico with some friends this past week. It was hard to leave our baby girl home, but it was worth the fun and relaxation! Thanks to everyone that helped take care of Kadence, you know who you are, and we love you! I'm not a photographer, so sorry about the pictures...here are a few to document the trip.

5 a.m. at the airport, ready to leave for Mexico
Sherri and Jared, John and Megan, Ty and Shar, Adam and Britt
This is where we stayed, The Grand Riviera Princess Resort...Beautiful!
We all had a room with a walk out pool, that's right, stairs off of our balcony strait into the pool, so awesome!
Don't mind the curtain thing right in Adam's face...told you I'm not a good photographer.
The beach, it was really pretty, no rocks, just how i like it.
Megan and I, worshipping the sun.

John, Adam, and Ty trying to build a sandcastle...
But got distracted by a sand fight.

The whole group at the pool.
This was right outside of our room, the pools were gorgeous!

We went to Playa Del Carmen one day, it poured rain for about 20 min, so we ran for cover to this little bar and had the BeSt chips and Guacamole while we waited for it to pass. Then the sun came back out, such crazy weather down there.

We ate lunch at Senior Frogs, so fun, but sooooo crazy! I got a lot of pictures from this place but this was the only appropriate one for the blog.
One of the 12 restaurants at our resort was Miso, Tempanyaki style, yummy.
Adam got to crack the eggs for us, he didn't do quite as good as our chef, but it worked.
The sweet boys surprised all the girls with a catamaran ride up the coast and a 5 course Lobster dinner on the beach, it was by far the most amazing date! They greeted us with champagne...

The boat ride was so pretty. The crew served drinks and appetizers.
Adam, playing captain, Scary!

Ty and Shar, Sherri and Jared
Adam and Britt, Megan and John
A little mood music.

The food was delicious, it was the first time I had tried Lobster, I'm a fan.

We danced after dinner, it really was my favorite part of the trip. So romantic and sweet, thanks babe, love you!

This was on our last night. We had a blast with this group. We all got along, no drama, it was fabulous! Thanks guys for a great time!!!
