My mother-in-law and sister-in-law gave me a baby shower last weekend! They are both sooooo talented, and pay so much attention to detail. It was a sweet pea or pea in a pod theme, and everything was pink and green, which just so happens to be the colors of Kadence's nursery...perfect!
Alexis found this rocking chair on KSL.com for $20. We loved the shape of it, and lucky for me, my in-laws do a fabulous job of recovering furniture! This is a before and after... I absolutely LOVE it! Annette and Alexis surprised me by having it finished for the shower. It matches so well in the nursery, I can't wait to rock little Kadence to sleep in it!
Annette made these cookies, cupcakes, and lifesaver binkies, isn't she amazing?!?
Alexis made me a darling diaper cake (notice the little pea pods), and oh so cute Tutu. Expect a post of Kadence in this Tutu in the future! 
My mom gave me this quilt for one of my gifts. It is a quilt my grandma made for me when I was born, my mom said I used to cuddle with it. I don't remember it, but I am so happy she saved it all of these years for me! Kadence can use it, and then I'll save it and give it to her when she has her first baby. So sweet mom, thanks!
Annette also made a hooded towel and washcloths that match Kadence's bedding, don't they look like they came straight from Pottery Barn?
My friend Rachel flew in all the way from Denver to come to my shower! She and Megan are such great friends!

That is an amazing baby shower. I can't believe the food and decorations they are incredible. It looks like you got lots of good stuff. I'm so excited for you there isn't anything better than being a mom! And girls are the best!

WOW what a fun shower! Your a little spoiled areant ya =) There is no grand babies on either side of our familis so I cant wait =) That chair is so darn cute. How exciting she will be here before you know it!
Holy cow girl! Looks like you had one heck of a shower! I have never seen such cute gifts, decorations, and favors. A lot of work and time went into it for sure! You must feel very loved. Baby Kadence is going to be spoiled rotten!! What fun. She will be here before you know it. Enjoy the remainder of your preparations.

Brit! That is so funny about the pumpkin thing! That is what I am being! I got Benny a cute little pumpkin costume and I was just going to get an orange shirt and hot glue black felt on for the face? haha! You should TOTALLY be a pumpkin! It's PERFECT! And we still need to get together! What about Monday or Tuesday?
p.s. how much weight have you gained? Are you feeling like a house? cause I AM!
Oh my gosh so fun! Everything looks so cute! I bet you are even more excited for Kadence now! I miss seeing you! Hopefully you'll come get a pedi before you go into labor!
Brittney- What an amazing shower. I love the theme. I can't believe they did all of that by themselves, they should go into a baby shower business. You'll have to show pictures of the nursery with that chair in it, it is amazing. That is so sweet that your mom saved that quilt, I'll have to save some things like that for my girls. The part I love the most about your shower is how grateful you are for everything- you are going to be such a good Mom.
